Are Ducray products tested on animals?

Pierre Fabre Laboratories offer products that provide the action you need, all while ensuring optimum safety. The European cosmetics regulation (Directive 76/768/EEC amended 11 March 2003) requires manufacturers to use the alternative methods available to test new cosmetic raw materials and finished products. We are conscious of these obligations, and years ago we stopped using animals to test cosmetic products under development. We implemented a program based on the following three actions:

• - We developed substitution tests on cell cultures in our own skin culture laboratory.
• - We applied various other methods used on the market and actively participated in validation programs set up by official French and European organizations.
