¹Hidrosis Control roll-on applied once every morning for 9 days. Gravimetric (weighted) measurement of perspiration conducted at D0, D3, D8 and D10, using cotton balls collected and weighed before and after repeated exposure to a warm environment. 34 adults included, between 18 and 59 years old, with excessive underarm perspiration.
Excessive perspiration corresponds to excessive production of sweat, beyond what is physiologically required to regulate body temperature. This condition affects approximately 5% of the population and can sometimes be linked to a condition or treatment. However, in most cases, the true cause is unknown. Hyperhidrosis of the underarms is characterised by localised and excessive perspiration under the arms, which mainly occurs during the day and symmetrically (left and right underarms).
