The vicious cycle of an itchy scalp

The scalp is an area rich in sensitive nerve endings, in other words, an area responsible for transmitting sensations.

These nerve endings are stimulated more easily in some people than in others, and they react to external stimuli such as heat from a hair dryer, pollution and especially irritant cosmetic products.

The stimulation of these nerve endings appears through symptoms such as itching, tightness, tingling, etc. on the scalp.

This is called sensitive scalp.

To prevent the vicious cycle of itchy scalp, avoid irritant cosmetic products and use suitable dermatological shampoos.
