What is hyperpigmentation?

Hyperpigmentation is the excessive production of melanin by the skin leading to the formation of localized brown spots. This phenomenon is worsened in people experiencing hormonal changes, such as pregnant women or those on hormonal contraception. This is called pregnancy mask or melasma. The treatment of hyperpigmentation is subject to dermatological procedures or preparations to promote its disappearance. In addition, they can be combined with or replaced by dermo-cosmetic products.

Under intense sun exposure, MELASCREEN UV SPF50+ creams protect, limit and correct brown spots. They are available in two different textures: a light cream for normal to combination skin, or a rich cream for dry skin.
At the same time, the MELASCREEN Skin-lightening light cream SPF15 protects, lightens and evens out the complexion.
