What is hyperpigmentation?

Hyperpigmentation is the excessive production of melanin by the skin leading to the formation of localized brown spots. This phenomenon is worsened in people experiencing hormonal changes, such as pregnant women or those on hormonal contraception. This is called pregnancy mask or melasma. The treatment of hyperpigmentation is subject to dermatological procedures or preparations to promote its disappearance. In addition, they can be combined with or replaced by dermo-cosmetic products.  

When should I use the MELASCREEN range?

They are available in two different textures: a light cream for normal to combination skin, or a rich cream for dry skin.
